Today was a glorious day. Not because I had gourmet Bacon and Eggs (I will be sharing that recipe soon). Not even because I tried …again to make Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies. Ladies and Gentleman, today a large package came addressed to me.

Yes, I was shocked someone cared enough to ship me a nice large box. But the most wonderful thing lay inside. Cradled in the warmth of cardboard and white popcorn Styrofoam lay my Holiday present (technically not a holiday present, it just landed around the day) from Black Rock Spirits, the bottling company who produces Bakon Vodka.

What do I plan on doing with my 750ml of Bakon Vodka they gave me?

I first plan on hiding it from the rest of the staff at Republic of Bacon and I plan on smuggling it out of the office. After that, I plan on calling Chef Rob Bacon to make an awesome bacon recipe with Bakon Vodka. I figure I will do it on a day I am too tired to cook for myself.

I’ll finish it off with a review of Bakon Vodka from two different perspectives. The first I will do from a Bacon enthusiast’s point of view. The second perspective, I will transform into a vodka connoisseur and let my extraordinary taste buds do the talking. I haven’t been able to find a Vodka Connoisseur expert in the area but I plan on finding one and giving a more accurate review.

In the package Black Rock Spirits provided me with some recipes on how to make ‘The Best Bloody Mary Ever!’ I’d like to try and make one, but I think I’m going to fail miserably at it. I am going to give it a shot and I’ll post the outcome regardless.

Bakon Vodka madness reviews will be coming soon!
