It’s that time of the week again: the time when we traverse the web from end to end in search of the most exciting and delectable bacon-related tidbits. Today, I’ve found a great range of pics – from bacon-licking cat gifs to a bacon-related tale of survival. So folks, grab your lettuce and tomato and click on the link to read the rest of the article.
Cat Floating on Bacon in Space
I think we’ve seen this before. But why not check out the picture of a cat floating on some bacon in space again? Really, there are no words. No words.
Cat Licking Bacon Gif
On the cats + bacon theme, we have this gif of a cute widdle puddy tat nibbling on some bacon. This should probably be our national flag, or something. Unless, of course, someone has a gif of a dog licking bacon. Only then will I turn on our feline friends and their obvious good taste.
Scott Pilgrim Vs Bacon
The movie Scott Pilgrim Vs the World was supposed to put Toronto on the map – it featured a lot of Toronto landmarks, and frequently talked about Toronto as a thing. Unfortunately, it sort of flopped (the polite term is that it was a “cult hit”). I think this panel – from one of the comics the film was based upon – shows the key ingredient that was missing when it was transferred to the big screen: bacon! When will everyone learn? You never take out bacon – you always put more bacon in!
Cheddar and Bacon Cornmeal Waffles Benedict
Oh! So the National Post thinks that it can get in on the bacon action, does it? Throwing down some bacon and eggy dish and telling all of us to deal with it? Well, fine. If that’s how they want to play it. I will say that it does look supremely awesome with that gooey cheddar gallumping all over the bacon and eggs and those little toast soldiers. They posted it for Mother’s Day, but you know who is neglected? People who love bacon, that’s who! People like me. Someone should make this for me…. mom??
Nickel Diner Bacon Doughnuts
Sometimes I think I should just give up talking about anything on this blog and just show you pictures of doughnuts covered in bacon. There’s probably enough on the Internet, and I know that I can’t really get enough of them. And if I did change the direction of the blog like that, this doughnut would probably at the top of the list called Greatest Posts Every Posted By Me.
Butter Used to Nurse Airplane Crash Survivor
Our friend, Mr Baconpants, brings us this heartwarming story of a boy who has been helped by the healing power of bacon. Apparently, a young Dutch boy who miraculously survived a plane crash was nursed back to help with a whole lot of bacon and butter. I don’t know if it’s true – but I certainly feel a lot better when I’ve scarfed down a load of bacon.
