I’ve been a big fan of Weird Al for ages. So, I was pretty excited that the world’s greatest music parody singer (I’ve done a very careful statistical analysis and he came out on top) has started wearing I ♥ Bacon t-shirts at his concerts. This piece of photographic evidence of his recent baco-love was taken at an O2 Concert in London. My grip on Yankovic’s greatest hits may be slipping, but I don’t really remember a bacon song. So, the t-shirt might have to do with the reported presence of bacon trucks nearby: baconmania was out at the concert, selling some bacon-y treats. In any case, I can only support this move, and hope it is the sign of a trend among celebrities to embrace bacon love. Although, to think about it, I don’t think Weird Al has managed to never really been a trend-setter. Well, it doesn’t matter. Weird Al Yankovic loves bacon, and I love him!
