Sugardale’s Bacon Recipe Contest

Do you have a bacon dish that friends and neighbours beg you to make? That meal that everyone inevitable requests when you offer to make them whatever they want, the dish that everyone secretly (or openly) hopes that you bring to every potluck and picnic? Then fine-tune that recipe and enter it into the Great Sugardale Bac-On (like a bake-off, only with bacon). There are three separate categories for entires, including one for appetizers, desserts and sides; one for main dishes; and one specially for ready-made or pre-cooked bacon. Your winning recipe could net you a whopping $3000! Entires are being accepted until September 30th 2012.

Makin’ The Bacon

Open exclusively to fans of the American Family television show (simply “like” their page to be eligible), this great recipe contest allows you to submit a bacon recipe for the chance to win a grand prize of a $500 Visa Gift Card, with 4 runner-up prizes of $250 each. There are five different categories in this contest: appetizers, side dishes, main dishes, desserts and sandwiches.

The Instructables Bacon Contest

This is one contest that has already come to a close (it ran from April to May of this year), but hopefully they choose to run it again next year. The rules are simple: make something awesome involving bacon, and you could win an iPad or a shiny new skillet. The grand prize went to an incredible invention: bacon caviar!
