No, this is not the description of a horror movie, or some death-defying stunt trend that is sweeping the nation (like planking). Rather, it’s just an Old Timey photo of some lady strapping on some bacon skates, and having a few spins at the local neighbourhood oversized frying pan.

I love breakfast, you get bacon and eggs some OJ (Orange Juice if you aren’t into the 1970′s lingo). The sad part is I haven’t made that many breakfast recipes. I’ve made some amazing waffles recipe, egg benedict, and we can’t forget my ultimate english muffin. I decided I’d stay away from the traditional breakfast recipe ideas of bacon and eggs. I wanted to incorporate them but not be the main focus in the recipe. I decided to go all out Irish on this dish. That is why I have Potato’s in this breakfast meal. I am going to warn you now, this meal will fill you up!

As well as telling you about the latest and tastiest bacon food items worth your precious Bacon Attention Brain Space (that’s the part of your brain that is solely devoted to thinking about bacon), we also like to introduce you to some of the more crazier things bacon gets paired with.

I haven’t tasted any of these dishes, but whole nations eat many of them. And they all feature bacon, so they have to be deserving of a nibble. Check out the multi-lingual bacon weirdness after the jump.

I am going to tell you this once and only once. Zucchini is amazing! I love Zucchini recipes and I thought I’d make it with some bacon to make it ten times more awesome. If you haven’t seen already, I have created plenty of amazing bacon recipes. I’ve made some amazing bacon and eggs recipes. Even cookie recipes!! I am really really stuck actually on which cookie recipe is the best, the chocolate cookie recipe or the peanut butter cookie recipe. But that is a completely different story altogether.
This Zucchini recipe was something my mamma made pretty much every other Sunday. It’s a classic recipe that has been passed down through the generations. Each generation adds something new and exciting to the recipe. I have added the best ingredient known to mankind, bacon! I haven’t told anyone in the family I have done this yet, I plan on doing it this Sunday. If you see no more posts from me next week, send a search party.

I am big on convenience. That is why I make the best waffle recipe with bacon. I like bacon mainly (well, aside from its tastiness) because it is super-convenient. What other meat has been cut for you even before you have opened up the packet? (And don’t give me that lunch meat guff – no one should be comparing a cold slab of baloney to freakin’ bacon!) Bacon oozes convenience.

You can even microwave it! But some people feel that it doesn’t ooze enough. And with my very skilful lead-in there, we come to the nutty world of squeezable bacon: apparently, it’s not just a practical joke anymore. We’ll spread some of this crazy bacon news your way after the jump.

The summer is rapidly dwindling away. I feel like I didn’t get a chance to any of the fun things I planned to do. You know, like riding a bike along the beach, relaxing at a cottage, hiking along a trail or skydiving nude from an airplane.
I have spent most of my evenings dipping rasher after rasher of finely cooked bacon into a beer and watching the sunset. I suppose that’s something. So in these last dying days, let’s take our minds off summer’s inevitable end by thinking only of the crazy bacon things that have happened this week. The full details after the jump.

If you haven’t realized by now, I am a lovely down to earth Italian and I LOVE Italian food. Blame my mamma or my nonna (grandmother for those non-italian readers), you have probably noticed my Italian influence from my Pasta Recipe, bacon and eggs recipe, and obviously our Bruschetta recipe. I just love my Italian food! I decided I’d make another Italian recipe, a more traditional and more common Italian dish, Eggplant Parmigiana! I’ve had this meal as a dinner, lunch and even as a snack between my lunch and dinner.

It’s a well-known fact that bacon is freakin’ everywhere, its in cookie recipes and even in cologne. There are still some places I don’t expect it. I know the Internet is like, 72% bacon – and that’s including the vegan websites. (Bacon is the gateway meat for vegetarians, after all.) But I generally assumed that IRL bacon was confined to food items like bacon sandwiches and chocolate soufflés and alcoholic cocktails.

This is apparently not the case. Bacon has broken through its edible shackles and has merged with the most unlikely thing ever: caves. Yes, apparently bacon is not a man-made product – it’s also a geological process. The full story of what in the world this thing called cave bacon is, follows after the break.

I’ve been receiving emails from our loyal fans explaining that I need to make harder recipes. That our famous cookie recipe was easy, our ‘chocolate bar candy’ recipe was even easier, and obviously our waffle recipe was pretty easy. These recipes however all had one two similarities, they had bacon in them all and they tasted DELICIOUS! I decided I’d take on this challenge and make a harder recipe, hence why this recipe is classified as an Intermediate skill level.

Pizza. It makes you think of Italy, fat opera singers ironing things while singing – perhaps a few gondolas. Or maybe you think of the hard-bitten streets of New York or Chicago, and eating slices of pizza while hunched over little round tables. Or maybe, like me, it makes you think of bacon. I was actually trying to find the best bacon wrapped scallops recipe, but decided I’d settle for some pizza.

I think we can agree that bacon and pizza go together like hockey and hot wings. So I think it’s about time we ran down the top bacon and pizza recipes . Click the link to take a bite of all this bacony za.
